CAS in Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging – University of Bern

Artificial intelligence is increasingly being applied in medical imaging, from diagnostic support to workflow optimization. The Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging at the University of Bern provides the knowledge to understand, critically evaluate, and responsibly integrate AI technologies into clinical practice.

This one-year, part-time program is designed for professionals across all areas of medical imaging. It combines theoretical foundations on AI development, validation, and ethical and legal considerations with an individual project that ensures direct practical application. Graduates are equipped to take a leading role in the implementation and use of AI in their own clinical environments.
